About Me

Hello! I’m Meg Lamore.

I’m Meg Lamore—an editor, proofreader, and communications specialist based in Davidson, North Carolina. I’ve spent the past decade and half helping brands, teams, and individuals communicate clearly and confidently. Whether refining a client proposal, polishing marketing copy, or shaping a brand’s voice, I bring a sharp editorial eye and a deep respect for language to everything I do.

My career has spanned industries including brand loyalty, insurance, public relations, and blogging. I have a Master’s degree in Communications and Public Relations from Southern New Hampshire University. This educational journey honed my skills in detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to delivering work that’s both thoughtful and effective.

In addition to contract work, I currently work as an editor and proofreader at Bond Brand Loyalty, ensuring that all internal and external content is clean, consistent, and aligned with brand standards. My most impactful content is in retreat itineraries and other employee materials, such as train-the-trainer manuals, where I can combine creativity and strategy to foster connection and engagement. I also enjoy taking on freelance projects that let me flex my writing, editing, and strategic communication skills.

Outside work, I’m an avid reader, vocal disability advocate, and animal lover. I also served as head of my local Mensa chapter for two years.

What I Value

Excellent communication starts with understanding your audience, goals, and message, which is key to creating resonating content. I love helping people find the right words and ensuring those words work hard for them.

I’d love to hear from you if you’re looking for someone who can elevate your content and help you connect more meaningfully with your audience.
